Back joining up with the Yarn Along after a little break because I have spending any extra time working on an ABC sampler. I am working on two different shawls right now and it is really just a matter of what I am in the mood to knit.

Knit #2 : Simple Spring Shawl by Leah Michelle Designs
I just finished two books that I wanted to share, The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurian & Flora and Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo. Both of these books I recommend for anyone looking for happy and easy reading. The first book is a lovely story set in France and it is about missed meetings and possible sadness that had an happy ending. I just really liked it. The second book is a young adult novel and I read it because my oldest girl wanted me to read it aloud this summer. It was a cute story and I will be reading it to her this summer each night before bed. I just started reading Alexander McCall Smith's book, Emma. I really don't have any opinions yet but I am intrigued by the concept of a modern retelling of one of my favorite Austen novels.
