Yarn Along & A Giveaway

{ Yarn Along & A Giveaway }

I really didn't a lot of knitting in the last week but I did do a lot of reading. I finished up The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. There are seven people who swirl around each other in a tangled web of familiarity. One of which is a lair. The rest are characters who are struggling to do the right thing. I want the main character to come out of it and be a better person and I found myself rooting for her. I really became intrigued as to why this all happened and what would be the outcome. A good mystery read. I liked it enough that I want to share it with you. I am going to giveaway this book. If you are interested, leave a comment below and I will random pick a comment and mail you the book! You can leave comments until Friday, March 6th.

I am still knitting the Oaklet Shawl and about at the end of the bulk and ready to start on edge. I am thinking of knitting up a little shawl or sweater for my eldest gal for Easter.

We dropped by the library yesterday and picked up a few books and movies for this upcoming snow. I picked up One Night in Winter by Simon Montefiore. And while at the library I found The Herblist's Bible. I have been eyeing this book on amazon for a while but I never wanted to commit to buying another book. Lo and behold there it was on the library shelf! Looking forward to reading it.
