Yarn Along
{ Yarn Along }
It has been a while since I have joined up with Ginny's Yarn Along but February has been a busy and hectic month of ups and downs. Thankfully, I have the ability to weather the stormy seas with some quiet time knitting. A type of therapy. Now that things are beginning to calm down I am able to share what I have been working on the past couple weeks.
I am working on the last couple rows of the Oaklet Shawl before the edging section. The yarn color is turning out quite well with the pattern. I also started a knit shawl ( A Sensible Shawl ) from my new knitting book, The Best of Jane Austen Knits. It is a wrap shawl with ties in the back which would be perfect for long walks on those cool spring evenings.
I just started reading The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. I literally started the book last night and read two pages before falling asleep. So- no opinions just yet.
Ready for March!

Oaklet is one of my favorites. Yours looks like it is going to be beautiful in that yarn!
ReplyDeleteThe yarn colours are gorgeous. I love Jane Austen Knits - haven't actually knitted anything from it yet, but so love looking through it and trying to decide what to knit!
ReplyDeleteI saw The Girl on The Train on Goodreads a couple of weeks ago and then it started showing up on the yarn along. So it's now on my queue so I'll wait to hear what you think.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to read that book one day soon, glad to see you and your knitting! Life is busy but as long as it's a fun busy then that's okay!
