{ Sewing Time }
This is how a Monday night should behave in my opinion. A quiet song of Diana Krall. A cup of Earl Grey tea. Surroundings and trappings of happy things. Fabric. A mind full of ideas. I am getting close to being ready to open my Etsy shoppe and it is really exciting to see one of my goals for the year coming together so quickly. It wont be anything fancy but little things that can make people smile. It is great to do something I love and maybe even make a little money while I am doing it. I will post some more pictures soon of sewing and the time spent in my creative space. I really strive to make our home a creative space where everyone can express themselves through whatever form they want. The girls love the full access to art supplies, James has a space for building models and working on restoring furniture, and I have my sewing corner. This creative space allows us to express ourselves while appreciating what can be done with our hands and minds. It feeds our souls.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I am excited to share my work and a bit nervous because I am putting myself out there in a different capacity but I think it will be well worth it. We are doing well. Not getting as much snow as last year (to the disappointment of the girls). Hope things are well in your neck of the woods.
