Mindful Mondays

{ Mindful Mondays }

 I am starting a new post series on Mondays (as often as possible) that calls all things I am doing, thinking, and creating together in one space. A good starting place for the week and a way to ease into Monday.

What I am.....

:: reading- Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty as a part of a online book club sponsored by Peanut Blossom and I am slowly combing through The Knitter's Book of Wool by Clara Parkes.

:: listening to - the BBC World News Hour on NPR and when I am not tuning into NPR I am enjoying my new Joni Mitchell CD of her greatest hits.

:: studying- seedling catalogs because I yearn for fresh veggies and fruits in the cold of winter.

:: creating- some new bags and play-mats for my Etsy shoppe that will open in February. (stay tuned)

:: cooking- tonight's dinner will be Grilled Tilapia over Red Rice with a Lemon Butter sauce (can't you tell I am so over winter)

:: educating - my little peanut by starting back into homeschooling (very slowly) Week of "H" will start tomorrow.

:: feeling- rested after 2 weeks of uninterrupted family time

:: thinking -about my cousin who will welcome her little one into the world this week and my brother who celebrates his 26th Birthday today. Happy Birthday!

  2. Hi Kathleen, and happy new year to you and yours. :) I've been away from blogging for just over two months (life happens...) and dove back in this morning, inspired by your Mindful Mondays post! Here's my link:

    1. I too have been away from blogging for the last two months. I really wanted to get back into it because I have met so many wonderful people that I didn't want to give it up. Thanks for joining up. I am hoping that more people will feel inclined as the years gets going.
