My knitting plate is filled these days with Christmas gifts for my family and friends. I am making a fuzzy rainbow cowl for each our girls to use on those snowy days. I make a set of baby slippers for our little guy and I am finishing up a Milo sweater. I am making a ribbed hat for my fella and I am almost finished a hat for myself. Now, I can say bring on the colder temperatures and snowy days!
I saw the movie trailer of Unbroken on the television the other night and decided to read the book before seeing the film. It is an amazing true story. A really great read so far.
So much great reading and knitting happening these days!

DeleteUnbroken is one of the best books I've ever read. I find it amazing what the human body can endure. Just goes to show you how important the right mindset is in getting you through life's struggles.
ReplyDeleteLove those slippers, great colour! I thought I had finished my Christmas knitting, but decided last week that little man needed a new cowl, and hubby needed a new scarf. So I am busily knitting both and trying to finish up other gifts.
