A new holiday season is upon us and I can't believe that another year has come and gone in what seems like a blink of an eye. We spent our past weekend just enjoying the company of each other and  decorating our home for Christmas. I am looking forward to starting this holiday season off by getting my brain and heart in the right space. I always want to make this time of year special for myself and my family. I tend to get caught up in the hurried nature of Christmas but not this year. This year my motto: less is more. Less hurrying about , less worrying about the perfect gift or experience, less rushing, and less everything. But more of those little things like sitting with my children and enjoying the Christmas lights, more quiet evenings with my husband, more time in Church, more time walking the winter woods, and more time giving to others.
