Oh my knitting has been so neglected these past weeks with Halloween right around the corner. I have been busily making costumes and fun little crafts with my children. But now that it is coming to an end I can focus on knitting. I am half done a Milo Sweater Vest for baby boy. It will be a Christmas gift. One down and 2 knit gifts to go!  I am joining a KAL with Tend Magazine. We will be knitting a Sea Urchin Beret. I am really excited about making something for myself. I picked up a skein of Madeline Tosh DK ( Nebula) just a lovely color! I also whipped up a new dishcloth for myself. I love making them but I hate using them. They are almost too pretty to use. 

I am reading The Steady Running of an Hour by Justin Go. It is really good and I like savoring each chapter. But over the next two days (since it is Halloween) I will be revisiting one of my favorite authors, Edgar Allan Poe. We only live about 45 minutes from where he lived in Baltimore and his grave. Spooky! He is prefect for the season.
