Yarn Along
:: Yarn Along ::
Windows open with knitting and reading on the sill. I am enjoying this beautiful summer we are having in Maryland. It makes cozy knits more fun to knit.
Knitting: Beech Cowl- almost finished I am on my last color. I can't wait. I just love it.
Reading: The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
Joining Ginny of Small Things
Oh reading on the windowsill sounds lovely! i am also so enjoying our summer here in northern Germany this year. even though it meant i haven't been knitting much...
ReplyDeleteIt has been a mild summer in the States ( at least in our area). We lived in the deep South for 8 years and the heat & humidity does me in.
DeleteVery nice color way, love how you mix and blend the yarns together...need more summer reading- will check out this book.
ReplyDeleteHappy Knitting :)
Thank you. I found the pattern on the Quince & Co. website. I couldn't pass it up. The book is okay but I think my brain has just been tired lately so reading falls by the wayside.
Deletethis is such a cool looking shawl, love the color you chose!
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch:)
DeleteI love your cowl. It's such a mix of both summer and autumn colors. I think the summer has been wonderful so far - not too hot and not too much rain.
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't like rushing my days, I am looking forward to wearing when there is a chill in the air.
Deletegorgeous cowl you're working on, love all the colors!!
ReplyDeleteWow the cowl looks great!
ReplyDeleteI do envy your cool weather! Beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cowl! It has been a cool summer here in MD. I am enjoying having the windows open more often. I am adding this book to my "to be read" list.
