What a Weekend! 

:: started off Friday morning with Independence Day crafts of flags and making painted fireworks. 

:: I made my honorary Barefoot Contessa Flag Cake ( it was divine) 

:: Cookout and party at my parent's house 

:: Saturday we drove out to Sky Meadows State Park in the Shenandoah Valley ( beautiful!) 

:: the girls made a colonial cherry pie with the colonial women

:: a wonderful hike with nothing but the wind through the trees as our music

:: wild butterflies and raspberries 

:: Saturday night of fireworks that we could see from our local park ( only a walk away) 

:: Sunday morning snuggles and coffee on the porch

 :: Mass with my brother and his lovely girlfriend

:: a graduation party 

:: Sunday night impromptu pizza and movie night with Princess and the Frog ( we are getting ready for our New Orleans trip) 

Such a beautiful weekend of good food, family, cool weather, and so many memories. I wish it could go on forever!
