Yarn Along

:: Yarn Along ::

I am still working on the Follow Your Arrow shawl. I am about 11 rows from being finished, finally! I am such a slow knitter that it takes me awhile to finish anything large. It is turning out beautifully and I can't wait to share it on the Yarn Along. I also picked up this shawl, Dinner at the Eiffel Tower and it is coming along quickly. I love how it feels and the color. So, I will have two shawls by mid-summer. I am kind of excited to add these to my wardrobe. I am thinking of starting a sweater for our baby boy, J. He outgrew the last one and baby knits are so fun and quick.

I am reading, Tell the Wolves I'm Home. It is really good and I end up reading late into the night. Not such a good idea with 3 children under the age of 6 who wake up by 6am every morning. Who needs sleep? right?

    I love books that keep you up late reading. Sleep? You can do that when you're old! :)

  7. I'm a late reader from last week's yarn along :) It was a happy day when my homeschooled kids were old enough to be trusted to handle breakfast and early morning by themselves. It worked very well with my night owl tendencies. This year my 10 year old has gone off to public school and has to be up at 5:45 to leave the house by 6:25. I've not gone to bed "on time" any night this year, I don't think. Instead I end up taking morning or afternoon naps.
