We had a pretty chill weekend after many weekends of busy events and happenings. We had a quiet Friday evening of pizza making, painting, and compiling herbal recipes for the end of Spring and Summer. We had a wonderful nighttime fire in our new fire pit. I love being able to sit outdoors at night around a warming fire. It is primal and spiritual.

Saturday we worked on little projects around the house. In the afternoon, I had a little time to pull out the watercolors and paints before we headed off to a graduation party.
Sunday we went to Sunday Mass and then headed into the woods for an afternoon of hiking. Dinner was a new recipe of Chicken Tostadas.
I just love quiet calm weekends....hope your weekend was lovely and peaceful.

ReplyDeleteI like the quiet weekends as well, you little guy is growing so fast!! Isn't it nice to be outside breathing in that fresh spring air (with the pollens and allergies) and be in the moment?
