:: Around Our Home ::
In an effort this week to remain "screen-free" this week, I've not been blogging which is a hard thing because I love sharing our adventures. I am trying to be less screen oriented and more world oriented. It is a challenge but I don't want to let life pass me by while I am absorbed on the computer.
So let's catch up.

Making Mariana Sauce for the freezer. Goodness knows I hate having to make sauce on the same night I am trying to cook some new pasta dish. |
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread |
We made homemade bread, felt flower brooches, and cards for Miss E's Sunday School teachers since this was the last week. |
the dreaded Puffy Paint Project. She loves it so whatever....I just go with it! |
A homemade Mother's Day gift for my mom. |
the fabric is cut and ready for sewing.... |
This is what we are reading this week. I am reading Little House in the Big Woods to the girls each night. I am reading The Midnight Rose by Lucinda Riley and James is reading Duty by Robert M. Gates. |
Menu planning & tea drinking |
Watercolors Night. I have decided that once a week we will do watercolors and music listening. This week we listened to Lorenna McKennitt radio on Pandora. |
Looks like a lovely week. I tried reading Little House to Reece last year, he wasn't interested, I should try again. Maybe it will be our summer read. Have a lovely weekend. Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering where you were ;) I have been cutting back as well, it's good for your brain. Love the tea and menu planning photo, that is what I'll be doing tonight :)
