Yarn Along

:: Yarn Along  ::

After several months of not joining yarn along, I am finally back. A combination of two moves and a difficult beginning to my third pregnancy I am finally feeling like myself again. I am currently knitting a Puerperium Cardigan for our little boy who is due in February. I have been stocking up on baby booties and hats since we will have our first winter baby. I am also starting a simple ribbed hat for hubby. It is nice to be knitting again since it curbs my insane desire to nest and it helps that we are finally living somewhere that is cold! I am starting a new book this week too. We Took to the Woods  seems like it will be interesting and I am reading more about lifestyles since we will finally be settling down post Navy in 2 short years.

Happy Knitting!

  2. Congratulations on your pregnancy! We moved too, late this summer! The Puerpurium is a delightful knit, and I am browsing that book too, I want to try the Big Lace Scarf next!
    I also read We Took To the Woods a couple of years back and even though i skipped some chapters it was a very inspiring book!

  10. I remember hearing about that book, but never read it. Have to put it back on my reading list... wishing I knit when my kids were little. Probably didn't have enough time to finish anything, but I'm inspired when I see yours!
