:: Yarn Along ::
This past week I finished a In Threes: A Baby Cardigan for a friend who is having a little girl in October. It turned out so well and it is the perfect shade of pink. Super cute!
I have made a lot of progress of on the Dinner in the Eiffel Tower shawl. It doesn't look like much now but once I finished it and block it the lace patterns will be very pretty. It is a pretty easy knit and I love the pattern.
I am finishing up The Burgess Boys this week. It has been an interesting reading so far. It is oddly sad in some parts but I like it. I have never read anything by Elizabeth Strout but I think I will check her other books. I received 44 Scotland Street in the mail yesterday. It looks like an interesting read. I am not sure if I will start this book next. I think I might do my yearly reading of To Kill a Mockingbird. Every year that I read it, I get something new out of the book.
Happy Knitting! xo.

ReplyDeletePopping by from Yarn Along. Happy Wednesday!! I just love In Threes- I have made several and will make another soon- just so darling!
ReplyDeleteI love your In Threes! I've knit it several times & I love how quickly it knits up and how lovely it turns out, don't you? xo
ReplyDeleteOh my. To Kill A Mockingbird is one of my all time favourites. Always feel a little twinge of disappointment that Harper Lee didn't go on to write more... it is such an outstanding novel.
ReplyDeleteLoving all the knitting too... pink and grey - two fab colours on your needles for sure.
TKAM is one of my favorites. Thank you for the reminder to pull it out again for a reread.
ReplyDeleteYour shawl is beautiful! I have a special affinity for baby knits right now but the lovely shawls around today have me thinking about making something for myself. :)
