Watercolors. Need I say more? It is one of our favorite pastimes. I am not an artist but I love the brushstrokes that watercolors making against the white paper. The bold beginnings that fade into nothingness  as the paint fills the page. The mixing of colors when they touch each other like two friends embracing after a long journey. You don't have to be a trained artists to make something beautiful with watercolors. The paints do the work for you. The girls and I love to sit out back and paint quietly just listening to the sounds of nature. Watercolors just make me smile.
