Yarn Along

:: Yarn Along ::

 Short and sweet this week. I made little to no progress on knitting because I have been devoting my extra time to sewing for my oldest gal's birthday...Today! She turns 4 years old. It is hard to believe but more about that tomorrow. I decided to rework my scarf pattern and do a seed stitch for the center section so it doesn't look like I accomplished much but I did figure out how to do the other end so I am half way there. I hope to share the pattern with everyone in the month of May. I am still working on my cozy nook blanket and it is actually coming along nicely. A bit tedious at times but I know it will be worth the work. I haven't found a hat I want to knit with the yarn above yet. I was going to knit a brioche hat but my brain just can't handle that this time. I am going to look through some books for a good pattern. I pulled my Literary Knits book off the shelf because I just love knitting and the classics. I received my copy of Persephone Biannual catalog and I think I will actually commit to buying some books. It won't come cheap since they are based in England but I am saving my pennies. Speaking of the British, I started Maisie Dobbs and already I love it. I do love all things English. My husband even told some British sailors he met through work recently that his wife loves all things English. They laughed and probably thought I was a bit nutty. Anyway, I am rambling on now...

Happy Knitting. Xo.
