At the Sewing Table
:: At the Sewing Table ::
I've been spending a lot of time at the sewing machine lately with birthdays around the corner. My sewing usually goes through spurts of highs and lows whereas knitting is a constant. Since we are moving this summer I have been thinking a lot about a house with a special little room just for sewing, crafting, and office work. Oh, how nice a bigger home will be:) But for now, we have been making due with our limited space and my husband has been graciously putting up with fabric scraps, bits of threads, and the occasional straight pin. I think after all the birthday gifts are made, I am going to finally make myself some new tops.
Some skirts for my eldest gal. They are reversible so she gets four skirts in half the time. I had fabric leftover so I made her some hair ribbons.
A hand drawn template for the embroidered center of a quilt I am making for picnics.
Miss E's birthday gift, Sleepover Pals from the book Wee Wonderfuls. They are really cute and very easy to make.
Birthday Crown
Wow, you have been busy! It all looks so lovely!
