Joining Ginny of Small Things
Hello! I just started reading The Lost Hours by Karen White ( a recommendation of the librarian) and so far so good. It takes place in Savannah which is just up the road from here. It makes me want to take a little trip up there in the near future. A place with a lot of history and culture. It is one of the things I love about the South. I also stumbled upon a free copy of Mary Jane's Farm magazine. An organic homesteading type of magazine. It has inspired me to keep a journal of ideas and thoughts about our future homestead. ( the time is drawing near to make the jump from Navy to civilian). I am still working on my heirloom baby sweater for my littlest girl. It is turning out quite nicely. It is a lot easier than I thought. I have found some yarn for hubby's scarf so that is a little project I'll be starting soon. The days are getting shorter but becoming much busy.
Happy Knitting!
Unrelated note, the Pacific Northwest (Seattle area) is a possible next stop for us. Any suggestions or advice about the area?

ReplyDeleteI stopped by from the Yarn Along -- beautiful knitting! I am always drawn to green yarns. And our family is planning a homestead as well -- we have ducks and chickens and a garden and are looking at land to buy in the next 2-3 years. Im glad I found your blog through the Yarn Along!
