I am halfway there! Yes, I am still working on the shawl and ballet bag. I started making a pair of baby booties for a friend with a new baby. I have been putting knitting on the back burner lately since I am trying to get an inventory together to open my Etsy shop and we have had company. Nevertheless, I will get this shawl done before long. I did start a new book! I found this book at a used bookstore in a nearby town. It just so happens that Possession by A.S. Byatt is the book that is up for discussion this month on The Diane Rehm Show on NPR ( I listen to it as a sew at night). I am interested in hearing what will be discussed but I think I need to find a book club in my town.

ReplyDeleteMy header picture is of a beach at Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Sadly, I dont see it every day but we dont live very far from there. My hubby is in the navy and I have watched him come home and leave on the sea many times. The sea is such a beautiful thing and i agree that it restores the soul. I can always breathe a little better after some time standing in the waves.
