Our Museum Trip
This past weekend we went to the Museum of Science and History (MOSH). My goal is for our family to take little field trips every weekend to some place in the surrounding areas. I am making a list of all the places that would interest us and is small child friendly. The MOSH was the perfect place to start, it is full of exciting hands-on exhibits for everyone in the family. They even have a planetarium. I think everyone in the family had a great time. James and I really feel that it is important to spend time together as a family exploring new places. Sometimes they turn out well and other times not so much but it is all part of having a family.
On an completely unrelated note, I had a conversation with a woman the other day about our eldest daughter. She had asked me where Miss E would be attending preschool in the fall. I proud told her that I would be homeschooling her with the Montessori at Home program. And...this part is very exciting...
I didn't cringe at her reaction!! I proudly stood there with my head held high and said yes, I am a homeschooling mom. This has been hard subject for me to discuss with people because I get shut down A LOT! Even though her reaction was one of bewilderment and disapproval, I didn't care what she thought of me. I truly believe in my heart that this is the right choice for us and if God has other plans for me then He will tell me. I just wanted to share that little victory in my personal life.

We miss the MOSH! Congrats on standing up for yourself too. :-)
