Yarn Along
Joining Ginny from Small Things
Summer is here! Well, at least in the South and nothing says summer like lemonade. I am still working on my Sweetie Scarf and I haven't made any progress because my project was met with unforeseen circumstances. 11 month old baby + ball of yarn and project = unraveling and project being undone. I would be upset by this but she looked so darn cute in the middle of all the yarn. Alas, I am a sucker for babies. Hopefully, this weekend will afford me the chance to finish the project.
I am reading for the third time Persuasion by Jane Austen. To say that I am a fan of Jane Austen is an understatement. I have daughters who have names that are derived from Austen's literary works and life. Yes, my husband humors me with such things. I am also reading/skimming for notes, Why the Allies Won by Richard Overy. I am applying to graduate school to continue my degree in history and I have to answer an essay question using this book as a reference. So, here's to getting accepted to Norwich University's graduate school.
What are you knitting this week?
I am a fan of Austen but havent read her lately. You will have plenty of knitting time as your baby gets older :)
ReplyDeleteThe joys of knitting with little ones around :) I have not read Austen in quite some time, maybe it is time I picked up one again...
ReplyDeleteJane Austen! Thats always good. One of these days, I want to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Somehow that sounds just so wrong, but Im curious...
