Yarn Along

Joining Ginny from Small Things

I'm back from the abyss of moving our home and family. I had planned on knitting while our home was in transit but that never happened. But we're back now, settled in our home and moving along slowly. I am starting a new shawl with Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend yarn. It is such a soft and lovely yarn. I am excited to learn some new knitting skills while working on my latest project.

I am currently reading, Momma Zen: Walking the Crooked Path of Motherhood by Karen Maezen Miller, which is an interesting take on motherhood and parenting. I have been looking for some new fiction and decided to pull The Gathering  by Anne Enright off the shelf.

Happy Knitting!

  1. You sound so calm after moving! Lovely lovely yarn in the photo. I hope where you moved to feels like home :)

  3. Thank you! Our new place is beginning to feel like home but I think no one place will truly be home until we settle and build a homestead. Im not sure if I am calm but it almost feels anti-climatic. I get into a weird post-moving to a new place funk. Knitting and kind words from my blog friends always help!
