Yarn Along

I just finished simple seed stitch dishcloth for the house and I am starting another this week. I have empty needles right now because I still deciding on what to start next. I am thinking a shawl for myself. I don't know how much I will get done since we are moving in 3 weeks and my house looks a mess but I have to keep knitting to keep my sanity during the move.

I am still reading Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver and I am starting The House Of Tyneford by Natasha Solomons. I am not usually a slow reader but I have reading other things, most recently Taproot, a new simple living magazine. It is fantastic!

Thanks for stopping by...Happy Wednesday!

  1. Empty needles? Wow! I cant imagine that, possibly because I always have at least 3-4 projects on the go at any one time ;) I think knitting to keep your sanity during the move is an excellent idea - perhaps something mindless/simple though!

  2. Happy Wednesday! Good luck on your move. I would definitely need something on my needles to keep me sane. I am about to read Animal Vegetable Miracle myself. I heard it was wonderful.

  6. Definitely need to start something for yourself. I always forget and then realise after 10 pairs of socks for family that I have nothing for me.

  8. Thank you ladies. I am already itching to start a new project. Knitting has become my daily meditation time and with little ones I need it!
