Saturday Afternoon Sewing

I was able to spend the afternoon catching up on sewing, washing, ironing, and cutting fabric for little outfits for the girls. All while listening to Gotterdammerung ( The Ring of Nibelugen)  by Richard Wagner, which is quite a beautiful opera.  I didn't finish everything but still feeling quite accomplished. 

I have been thinking a lot about aprons lately. I have been wearing one a lot lately and I feel strangely like a scullery maid. Who wears aprons anymore? Who used to wear them?  I think it is all the Downton Abbey I watch these days. It is on my brain. Next blog post?
