Happy New Year!

We're back after visiting with so many family and friends over the past two weeks. Enjoying our first Christmas at home as a family of four. Then, traveling up north for some quality time with both our families. As different as our families are, each brings their own smiles, laughs, and memories. Once again, we had a fun and abundant holiday season with a beautiful evening Mass, lots of presents, good food, laughs, and memories. We are truly blessed.

2011 has been a hard year for so many people ( a lot of prayers passed my lips for others this past year) but I am blessed and thankful to say we had a wonderful year filled with a new addition to our family. 2012 can only bring great things for our family. It is the time of year to reflect on the past and plan for the future. I have never been one for resolutions because I truly believe that every day you should wake up with hopes to be a better person than you were yesterday. I am also prone to breaking every resolution I set before myself. Instead, I pray and hope for a more peaceful world, continued happiness for my friends and family, and grace from God to accept all things I cannot change this year. Happy New Year!
