Friday Night: Our traditional pizza and a movie night with my brother and parents. The girls watched Finding Nemo and my brother made us some great black and tans to go with the amazing homemade pizza my husband whipped up. I will take pictures of his pizza creations next Friday, they must be shared. 

Saturday: Oh my....SHEEP and WOOL!  We went the the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. What a morning. We saw so much beautiful yarn and fiber goods, watched adorable Border Collies show off their sheep herding skills, learned some more about raising sheep, and I fell in love with some darling lambs. It excites me to think about what the future Shaw farm will hold for us. I bought some beautiful hand spun and hand dyed yarn. I wish I could buy more but we're on a budget these days. I can't wait to start a new shawl with my Oyster Bay yarn.  The garden is just chugging along with some early cabbage and mixed lettuce growing more and more every day.

Sunday: We have been all about relaxing and just doing little things today. I made some Cowboy Cookies for the week. I like these cookies because I can mix in all kinds of yummy things to make them a bit more nutritious for a cookie. (shhh! don't tell my family)
