Our Weekend

:: Our Weekend ::

We had a very busy weekend.

Friday night- I made Shrimp and Grits with a side of Bluegrass music

Saturday-
Miss E had her first birthday party with friends.
We decorated chef hats, aprons, and cupcakes in honor of her love of cooking.
They played dress up and dance party.
It was so fun to watch these little ones enjoy themselves and it reminded me of my birthdays as a girl.
Later in the evening my brothers and parents came over for pizza and fun.

Sunday-
Sunday morning, we eased into the day with coffee, crosswords, and breakfast.
We attended Mass and the Divine Mercy procession afterward.
The girls were so GOOD during the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Procession.
We spent the afternoon at home taking care of business around the house
A quiet dinner and walk to the local park for so much needed outside time.

What a weekend for the children. They had a blast. Next weekend is for mama. We are going to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. James may have to drag me away from it.
