Yarn Along
:: Yarn Along ::
No new projects finished this week but I did start writing my first pattern. It is a simple scarf for spring. I am hoping to finish over the next couple weeks and share it with everyone. I found some yarn in my stash and I searched through Ravelry and found a cute little Brioche Hood Hat. I also ordered some yarn to start some new sweaters for my girls. My needles are going to be busy!
I am finished reading The Red Garden by Alice Hoffman. It was an interesting read of short stories that take place over time in the same town. It is somewhat magical and strange. I liked it and will definitely read another of her books. I picked up a copy of Mill on the Floss by George Eliot. I have a very old copy my grandfather gave me but it isn't a readable copy. I am looking forward to starting it tonight.
Happy Knitting! xo.

ReplyDeleteLove the lighting in your photo as well as the pattern of your scarf. :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you for writing down your own pattern! I remember being almost terrified to do that the first time, and you don't seem scared at all. It's great for the mind and is a challenge that you won't regret conquering. Beautiful blog. You look like a wonderful mama.
