:: A Walk in Our Woods ::
We live about 10 minutes from a Georgia State Park. It is a great little escape for us when we are feeling cramped in our currently small home. Whenever I start feelings crabby or grumpy I pack us up and head off for a walk. As soon as we hit the trails we all begin to feel better and refreshed. I love that a walk in the woods can clear your mind and spirit while focusing your attention on the busy natural world. State and National Parks are a real asset that are often under looked and I have become a real advocate of parks. It is something I hope to pass onto my children. We are moving back to our home state this summer and I can't wait to share all the parks of my past especially during the beautiful fall months.

Despite Miss E's look, she really does love the outdoors. |

We've been doing some walks lately too! Nature has a lovely way of turning our attitudes around, doesn't it?
