Yarn Along
Joining Ginny of Small Things
Progress...Progress. I am making quite a lot of progress on the Christmas sweaters for my girls. The Milo sweater is knitting up nicely and I really the pattern. I think that I will knitting a few more of these. The Heirloom Baby Sweater is almost done. It has been on the back burner because I am procrastinating. I have to sew it together and block. I decided to cast on a cowl for myself. It is an easy knit and I think it will be cozy and warm. I also have some new yarn. Not sure what I am knitting with it but it's just pretty to have and hold! Oh the possibilities are endless! I stopped reading The Light Between the Oceans because it was kind of depressing. I just wasn't feeling it. I started reading The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender. It is also a little sad but I am intrigued by the storyline and I can't wait to read what happens next.
Happy Knitting & Happy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteyour new read sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteAll the knits and yarn are lovely! I usually find that sad books are the best books, but I'm rarely emotionally able to handle them. Takes a very particular, rare mood to get through them.
ReplyDeleteThat's some yummy looking yarn you're using. Very pretty purple.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely yarns, all your knits look great! It feels good to make progress on holiday knits doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Kathleen.
