Sunday Evening

This evening we decided to venture out of doors and brave the sudden infestation of mosquitoes that have blanketed our corner of the earth. We armed ourselves with earth and body friendly bug spray (only the organics for my babies) and stepped out. But what is this? No swarms in our backyard--only a few unfriendly buggers flying about. So-- it shaped up to be a beautiful evening of playing, walking, exploring, and smelling. Oh yes, smelling! The wisteria and dogwood are in bloom and they smell heavenly. Once we get moved, we are so planting some wisteria and maybe even a dogwood tree. The cool air and sweet scent of flowers made the evening magical. That is the best kind considering I have two little fairies under my care and they love to frolic. What a lovely evening of rest and peace.

Daddy and littlest fairy ( no smiles tonight- just silly faces)

Our biggest fairy

Mama and Baby

Dogwood flower- generally I am opposed to plucking a flower off a tree but  I had a moment of weakness tonight

Scooter- keeping watch over his people

Mighty Live Oak.

To top the night off- my cousin had a posting about the the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter  in the night sky.  We couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the lovely planets and moon!
