Summer Days

:: Summer Days ::

If I only had enough hours in the day I would post to the blog every night but lately the days have been long and once everyone is asleep I plop down to soak up the evening air, knit a few rows, or tidy up before succumbing to my heavy lids. We have been doing so much these days and I am loving every moment of summer. We have been swimming, baking, crafting, snuggling, picnicking, hiking, and so much. Here is a peek of what we have been up to lately....

Yarn Along

:: Yarn Along ::

Knitting: finishing up baby diaper covers & a shawl. It has been slow going the past couple weeks since there are so many other things keeping me busy. I sneak a row or two here and there. My husband says I am in my "blue period" of knitting since everything is some shade of blue or purple.

Reading: Just started reading "The Gilly Salt Sisters" by Tiffany Baker. I can't decide if I like it or not yet but if it loses my interest I am on to something else.
