Yarn Along

:: Yarn Along ::

Not a lot of progress this week on the knitting front. My knit hat for our little guy had a run in with our little guy. He decided to help me undo all that I had knit. Oh sigh, I can't really get upset with him especially since I leave it on our coffee table. So, I am starting over on that little project and still working on my Forest Glade cowl. A friend of mine is having a little girl very soon so I am going to start a little pair of booties for her. I love knitting baby things because they are so adorable and quick to knit.

I am reading my new edition of Taproot. It is something I savor and enjoy over several days. I just started reading The Blue Guitar by John Banville. It is very good so far. This is the first Banville novel I have ever read but I know he has written many novels. I like the artwork on the cover too.

Happy knitting this week!

  5. Yikes! I remember when our kids "played" with my knitting. Sad!
    I keep hearing about Taproot. I need to check it out.
